MY LIFE

When I was caught by the police, I stopped doing graffiti.. But not for long. I can express my creative needs on canvas but it is not the same.  The feeling of going out at night, spraying your artwork on a wall.  The risk of getting caught.. is the best feeling ever. Before I started spraying graffiti on walls I expressed my creative soul on paper. Graphite or markers were one of the standard art materials I used.

The love for graffiti came when I was driving with my parents along the highway.. All kinds of artworks on walls and it was so fascinating to see. I had to do that too!

Step one: sketchbook. Step two: Pencil. Ready to make some artworks with letters. At first it looked like shit but after a while my letters got more dynamics. How would it be to spray it on a wall I asked myself. I bought some cheap paint and I did the job. It was ugly, very ugly. it was much harder than expected. But my first time spraying graffiti was a fact.

One thing I knew, I will get better.

Before I was into graffiti I was always dreaming about doing something with art for a living. Tattoo artist was always the first thing that came into my mind. But that all vanished when I discovered people liked my graffiti spray paintings so much that they pay for it. When things got a little bit more serious I made some plans. first one: Exhibition in Paris with my graffiti art. “Asko Art in Paris” I was totally manifesting it. couple years later it happened. After my exhibition in “Limburg, The Netherlands” I went to paris.
